PH Level: 2.5 2.67 using the pH meter (I tested the Timeless serum using pH strips. Please comment and let me know about your experience using it! I’ve had no problems with the Timeless Vitamin C+E Ferulic Serum and do not plan on changing brands anytime soon. I think it is just differences in the lighting in my apartment. It is the same bottle as the photo above. If you look at the first photo in this post of the bottle next to its box, it is a more orange-y color. The bottles look different colors in the photos but I don’t think Timeless has changed the bottles. I think this is because I am still pumping it into the small bottle rather than pumping it out every day. There are no crystals on the outside of the bottle or in the serum itself. So here’s a photo of my current bottle with about 1/4 of the bottle left. I wiped the crystals off the outside of the bottle but they kept forming. I think it got onto my hand from the outside of the bottle. But, I don’t think the crystals were in the serum itself. When I applied the serum, I could feel the crystals on my face. Once I started using the bottle every day, small crystals did form on the outside of the bottle: After using the majority of my first bottle, I decided I didn’t want to decant it into the smaller bottle anymore since there was such a small amount left. I’ve read in other reviews that folks have problems with the Timeless Vitamin C forming crystals on the bottle. I actually use a sample Skinceuticals bottle for this purpose (but I’ve also used small clear sample bottles that I completely cover with washi tape or even just painter’s tape): I also usually wash and dry the bottle between refills.

I keep a small bottle of the serum in my bathroom cabinet and refill it when it is empty.

I wrote about refrigerating Vitamin C serums in the past so to see the results of those experiments, click here. I keep the bottle in the refrigerator and have not had any problems with it oxidizing. I’ve also tried the Maelove Glowmaker serum but it clogged my pores.

I’m not trying it because I’m afraid that such a low pH will cause skin irritation. I don’t know the pH level but they now advertise it as having a super low pH. I used to use the Cosmetic Skin Solutions Serum but they reformulated it. I am committed to using L-Absorbic Acid and have found very few affordable options. I’m assuming that it is a small enough amount that it isn’t causing any problems. At one point, I was concerned about the small amount ofīenzyl alcohol being drying but haven’t experience any dryness. I haven’t experienced any irritation or skin issues during my time using it. Mia’s review: I have no plans to stop using the Timeless 20% Vitamin C+E Ferulic Acid Serum. But, I just couldn’t bring myself to pay that much for a serum. At the time, I was convinced that moving forward I was going to use Skinceuticals CE Ferulic because it is the gold standard. It took two trips to the dermatologist to realize that is what caused my skin issues so I’ve been using the Timeless 20% Vitamin C+E Ferulic Acid Serum for the past 9-10 months.
